Attentive, fast and efficient service. Interior and ambiance was very modern, luxurious & creative. Had for first course the La Nostra Cacio e Pepe (Bigoli Pasta with Pecorino Romano Cheese aged 36 months) with Black Truffle, for second course the Branzino Alla Sandrino (Sea Bass with Seasonal Mushrooms, Swiss Chard, and Primula Potatoes) and for desert the La Nostra Tarte Tatin (Apple tarte with vanilla ice cream). Overall bill for 2 people (two courses plus desert & two glasses of wine each) was 236 euros. Not bad value.

Ristorante dal profilo turistico. Tutti i commensali erano stranieri. Non so se sarebbe una coincidenza. Posto carino ma non molto originale. Seguendo il modello decorativo di tanti altri in diverse città europee. Il cibo è buono, ma penso che in città ci siano opzioni altrettanto interessanti ad un prezzo più basso. Servizio attento ma troppo desideroso di vendere tutto il tempo. Allego una foto di cosa abbiamo mangiato: - Parmiggiana alla Tommaso: penso che sia molto difficile ordinare questo piatto in Italia e che non sia buono. - Risotto alla milanese d'oro: quello che ci è piaciuto di più. Sapore intenso. Molto ricco. - Costoletta alla milanese con patate scopritelo: benissimo, senza ulteriori indugi.

Delicious setting with character. Food is perfectly decent, but nothing spectacular by Italian standards, you can get the same or better quality in most trattorias, at half the price. Definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere though.

Ohmy. I got the risotto and added truffle while my partner got the truffle pasta. Both were amazing. Our waitress gave us excellent service and paired the wine perfectly with our meal. The ambience is quite nice and both indoor and outdoor were decorated beautifully

Scoperta molto bella, arredamento magnifico e un'atmosfera molto accogliente. Il menù non è vastissimo, il che è rassicurante, i piatti sono raffinati, tipicamente milanesi e il servizio è attento. I prezzi sono più che onesti con una media di 70 euro a persona, vino compreso. Un locale che consiglio per una serata tra amici o da soli. Quanto a me, ritornerei con molto piacere per scoprire il resto dei piatti.

From start to finish everything about this restaurant was absolutely exceptional. (We went to a Michelin star restaurant the following night and both agreed that the meal and overall experience at La Gioia was far superior) We were seated in a lovely corner table with a view of the full room in front of us and of the open kitchen beside us. I love a table like that as you can really soak up the atmosphere. We started with some cocktails and both were very tasty. We also ordered some delicious Chardonnay to accompany our meal. For food we had both the steak tartare and tuna tartare as starters. Both were so fresh and full of flavour. For our main we chose to share the chateaubriand with added sides of wild mushrooms and the black truffle Pomme puree. The meat was exceptional. Full of flavour, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and just melted in the mouth. Both sides were also delicious but the black truffle Pomme purée was a stand out. It was Devine! Also, the Saint Emillion jus that comes with the dish was probably the best jus I’ve ever tasted. I thought about it for days after! We were full by this point so skipped on dessert. All the staff were very friendly and professional. A special mention to our server. Didn’t get her name but she was Romanian with long hair and glasses. She was absolutely superb all evening! She even gave us a recommendation of places to visit which we did and it fully enhanced our holiday! Definitely a restaurant I will recommend to everyone and one I’m already excited to revisit hopefully soon. Thanks to everyone involved.

The atmosphere was cozy, typical Italian restaurant. Honestly I never ever in my life tried anything delicious close to these dishes. I wish I could eat here every day. Definitely coming back.

Abbiamo visitato il ristorante dopo suggerimenti sui social media, buon cibo, personale di servizio gentile e atmosfera accogliente. Ma tutti nel gruppo reagiscono in modo forte dopo essere andati in bagno, dove si incontra una donna il cui unico compito sembra essere quello di aprire la porta del bagno per gli ospiti.
