I took a four hour tour of “must-sees” In Milan, from the Duomo Cathedral, to the Italian Stock Exchange—and everything in between. My guide, Barbara Quarello, was fantastic. A seasoned pro and an expert in art and Italian history (as well as architecture, design, fashion, and food) she made me much smarter that unforgettable day with her thoughtful insights and deep understanding and appreciation of Milan—the city, where she was born and raised, and her family has lived for generations. Barbara educated me In the ways of Leonardo da Vinci, who lived in Milan from 1482 to 1499 in preparation for my viewing of his masterpiece, The Last Supper, which is in the refectory of the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

We had a fantastic 4-hour private tour in Milan with Barbara Quarello. She showed us the Duomo and walked us through the city, sharing tons of interesting historical facts and pointing out hidden gems along the way. Barbara's knowledge of Milan is impressive, and her explanations of the skyline, historical buildings, and neighborhoods were super engaging. She speaks excellent English, which made everything easy to follow. Plus, her friendly and pleasant personality made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommend her to anyone visiting Milan. We’ll definitely hire her again for future trips! Thank you, Barbara, for a wonderful experience!

During our first visit to Milan in April 2024, my wife and I took three separate private tours on three consecutive days: (1) Lake Como and Bellagio, (2) Presence of Leonardo Da Vinci in Milan and his Last Supper, and (3) Milan Duomo. All three tours were well-planned and quite educational. It is easy to work with Barbara, our tour guide. She is friendly and willing to make efforts to help us as strangers in Milan. Because these are private tours, prices are certainly higher than those group tours that one could find from places such as Viator or Tripadvisor. Overall we are happy and satisfied with the entire program which turned out to be a wonderful unforgettable expereince.
