ALTRE INFORMAZIONI

The food is okay compared to what I tried in Thailand but the service is very poor.

Sto ancora sognando il Som Tam. Tutto pazzesco, proprietaria gentilissima, cibo ottimo e porzioni abbondanti. Prezzo più che onesto.

As an Asian-American traveling in Italy, I found myself craving something different from the usual pizza and pasta. Thai Street Food Milano was the perfect answer, offering an explosion of flavors that only Thai cuisine can provide. Located in a small shopping mall, my significant other and I had low expectations, but this place completely surpassed them. We ordered the pad Thai with shrimp (pad Thai goong), papaya salad with anchovy sauce and raw shrimp (som tham plata), fried wontons with meat filling, sen lek Tom yum, pad bak boong (stir-fried morning glory), and mango sticky rice. Every dish was hot, fresh, and full of the sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors characteristic of Thai food. The papaya salad was a flavor explosion, with strong anchovy, fish sauce, lime, and Thai chili flavors that are hallmarks of traditional papaya salad. We ordered it medium spicy, and it definitely had more than a kick but was still bearable and delicious. If I had to be critical, I'd say the stir-fry dishes could use more of that wok hei flavor, and the vegetables were slightly overcooked and watery. The pad Thai was good but could have been a bit sweeter and saltier to my taste. The Tom yum noodle soup was flavorful and packed with shrimp, and the fried wontons were crispy with a delicious filling. The highlight, however, was the mango sticky rice. The sticky rice was soft with a hint of sweetness from the coconut milk, paired perfectly with the ripe, sweet mango. Having been to Thailand and indulged in mango sticky rice daily, this version was impressively close to the real deal. Having tried several Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants in Milan, Thai Street Food Milano stands out as my favorite. They stay true to authentic flavors without catering to the local palate. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Milan. Highly recommended!

After a week visiting in Italy we were quite fed up eating pizzas and pasta. So if you are looking for something else than pizza and pasta. This is the best place to go. Found this place in Chinatown in Milan. The food is amazing 😋. Prices are affordable too. You can choose different dishes from the menu. Rice, noodles and starters like spring rolls or chicken skewers. We ended up with the combo meals. We really enjoyed our meal.

was so good
